Today on our 2014 Ford Expedition, we'll be test fitting the convert-a-ball cushioned adjustable Pintle mounting bar for two-inch hitches. With a total of eight holes, and rated at ten-thousand pounds, it's part number is AMPC2. This eight-hole mounting bar lets you adjust the Pintle height, to level your trailer. Before we begin our test fit, we first need to get our hitch height. This is a measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. It's about 20-1/4 inches. more

Today on our 2006 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the convert-a-ball cushioned adjustable pintle mounting bar for two-inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds, part number ampc2. Before we being our test fit, we will first to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height measurement for this vehicle is about 19 and 1/4 of an inch. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or other after-market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the mounting bar into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. With it in the drop position, we can then measure from the ground to the center of the second set of holes from the bottom. This measurement is about 15 and 1/4 of an inch. From the third set of holes from the bottom, is about 17 and 1/4 of an inch. more

Today on our 2012 Ford F250 Super Duty well be test fitting the Convert-a-Ball cushioned adjustable pintle mounting bar for two-inch hitches with a total of eight holes rated at 10,000 pounds, part number ampc2. Now this eight-hole mounting bar lets you adjust the pintle height to level your trailer. The cushioned shank protects your equipment and smooths your ride. If you are using this bar with a closed trailer hitch, the receiver tube must be at least 2 3/8 inches deep. Now before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube, and well get a measurement of about 21 inches. more
